The aim of this project is to i) develop new antiviral therapy based on cellular pathways regulating retroviral integration, ii) use lentiviruses as tools for gene therapy by controlling their insertion site based on our fundamental studies of the intasome/chromatin interactions and iii) use viruses as vectors to kill cancer cells in oncolytic virotherapy.
